Job Summary
MRI Technologist role performing routine, specialized and interventional MRI imaging, collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to provide imaging services (MRI, ultrasound, CT, PET, interventional radiology, digital mammography, nuclear medicine), and venipuncture when indicated. Requires ARRTMR certification, BLS, state-specific radiologic certification, and 1 year of work experience; orientation includes obtaining ARRT MR license within 1 year. Responsibilities emphasize clear communication, relationship-building, accountability, patient experience improvement, initiative for professional growth, and teamwork with radiology staff including Radiologists and nurses in a Midlothian, Texas hospital setting.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an approved Radiologic Technologist Program
- Current Basic Life Support certification
- Current American Registry of Radiologic Technologists« certification - ARRT (MR)
- Texas Department of State Health certification
- Work Experience: 1 year required
- Or ARRT (R); employee will be required to obtain ARRT (MR) license within 1 year of completing orientation
