Job Summary
MRI Technologist position (PRN) performing routine, specialized and interventional MRI imaging, including venipuncture when indicated and assisting Radiologist and radiology nurses with sedation. Responsibilities emphasize clear communication, collaborative teamwork, accountability, patient experience improvement, and professional growth. Requires graduate radiologic technologist program, BLS, ARRT MR or ARMRIT, Texas state certification, and 1 year of experience (with orientation to obtain ARRT MR license within 1 year). PRN shifts typically 4p-8p with variable days; hospital setting at Methodist Celina Medical Center campus and related imaging services.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an approved Radiologic Technologist Program
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Current ARRT (MR) or ARMRIT certification
- Texas Department of State Health certification
- Work Experience: 1 year required
- AR R T (R) license within 1 year of completing orientation
