Job Summary
Perform routine, specialized, and interventional MRI imaging while collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to provide comprehensive imaging services. Conduct venipuncture when indicated and assist radiologists and nurses with sedation cases. Maintain clear communication, build collaborative relationships, and take initiative for professional growth within a Magnet-designated hospital. This role requires an ARRT (MR) certification or the ability to obtain it within one year of orientation, along with current BLS certification and one year of work experience.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an approved Radiologic Technologist Program
- Current Basic Life Support certification
- Current American Registry of Radiologic Technologists certification - ARRT (MR) or ARMRIT
- Texas Department of State Health certification
- 1 year work experience
- ARRT (R) certification (with requirement to obtain ARRT (MR) license within 1 year of completing orientation)
