Job Summary
Perform routine, specialized, and interventional MRI imaging while collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to provide comprehensive imaging services including ultrasound, CT, PET, and nuclear medicine. Assist the Radiologist and nurses with sedation cases and perform venipuncture when indicated. Maintain clear communication, build collaborative relationships, and take initiative for professional growth within a Magnet-designated hospital. This PRN role requires an approved Radiologic Technologist Program graduate with current ARRT (MR) certification, BLS, and Texas DSH, plus one year of experience or a path to licensure within a year of orientation.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an approved Radiologic Technologist Program
- Current Basic Life Support certification
- Current American Registry of Radiologic Technologists certification - ARRT (MR) or ARMRIT
- Texas Department of State Health certification
- 1 year required Work Experience
- ARRT (R) certification (with requirement to obtain ARRT (MR) license within 1 year of completing orientation)
