Job Summary
Perform quality mammography procedures and assist Radiologists in special procedures for early detection of breast abnormalities. Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to provide imaging services including ultrasound, CT scan, PET scan, interventional radiology, digital mammography, and nuclear medicine. Communicate clearly, build relationships to promote a collaborative environment, and take initiative for professional growth. Maintain accountability for performance while always looking for ways to improve the patient experience. This part-time role at Methodist Charlton Medical Center requires an MQSA-certified Radiologic Technologist graduate with current BLS and ARRT (M) or ARMRIT certification, one year of work experience, and Texas State Health certification.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an approved Radiologic Technologist Program
- Meets MQSA guidelines
- Current Basic Life Support certification
- Current American Registry of Radiologic Technologists certification — ARRT (M) or ARMRIT
- Texas Department of State Health certification
- 1 year work experience
- ARRT (R) certification
- Ability to obtain ARRT (M) license within 1 year of completing orientation
