Job Summary
Perform quality mammography procedures and assist radiologists in special procedures for early detection of breast abnormalities. Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to provide imaging services including ultrasound, CT scans, PET scans, interventional radiology, digital mammography, and nuclear medicine. Maintain clear communication, build collaborative relationships, and take initiative for professional growth while improving the patient experience. Methodist Charlton Medical Center is a Magnet®-designated, Level III Trauma Center serving southwestern Dallas County with award-winning care in cardiac catheterization, electrophysiology, and oncology.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an approved Radiologic Technologist Program
- Meets MQSA guidelines
- Current Basic Life Support certification
- Current American Registry of Radiologic Technologists certification — ARRT (M) or ARMRIT
- Texas Department of State Health certification
- 1 year work experience
- ARRT (R) certification
- Ability to obtain ARRT (M) license within 1 year of completing orientation
