Job Summary
Perform quality mammography procedures and assist radiologists in special procedures for early detection of breast abnormalities. Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to provide imaging services including ultrasound, CT scan, PET scan, interventional radiology, digital mammography, and nuclear medicine. Maintain clear communication, build collaborative relationships, and take initiative for professional growth while improving the patient experience. Methodist Charlton Medical Center is a 314-bed, full-service, acute care teaching hospital recognized as a Magnet-designated facility and Top 10 Military Friendly Employer. The hospital serves Cedar Hill, DeSoto, Duncanville, and Lancaster in southwestern Dallas County and offers a newly renovated intensive care unit and Level III Trauma Center.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an approved Radiologic Technologist Program
- Meets the MQSA guidelines
- Current Basic Life Support certification
- Current American Registry of Radiologic Technologists certification — ARRT (M) or ARMRIT
- Texas Department of State Health certification
- 1 year of work experience
- ARRT (R) certification
- Ability to obtain ARRT (M) license within 1 year of completing orientation
