Job Summary
Perform quality mammography procedures and assist radiologists in special procedures for early detection of breast abnormalities. Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to provide imaging services including ultrasound, CT scans, PET scans, interventional radiology, digital mammography, and nuclear medicine. Communicate clearly, build relationships for a collaborative environment, and take initiative for professional growth while improving the patient experience. Maintain current Basic Life Support certification and ARRT (M) or ARMRIT certification, with the employee required to obtain ARRT (M) within one year of orientation. Work Saturdays and Sundays in an 8X5 day schedule at Methodist Charlton Medical Center, a Magnet-designated Level III Trauma Center serving southwestern Dallas County.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an approved Radiologic Technologist Program
- Meets the MQSA guidelines
- Current Basic Life Support certification
- Current American Registry of Radiologic Technologists certification — ARRT (M) or ARMRIT
- Texas Department of State Health certification
- 1 year of work experience
- Ability to obtain ARRT (M) license within 1 year of completing orientation
