Job Summary
Perform quality mammography procedures and assist radiologists in special procedures for early detection of breast abnormalities. Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to provide imaging services including ultrasound, CT scan, PET scan, interventional radiology, digital mammography, and nuclear medicine. Communicate clearly, build relationships to promote a collaborative environment, and take initiative for professional growth. Maintain current Basic Life Support certification and American Registry of Radiologic Technologists certification. Work Saturdays and Sundays in an 8X5 day schedule at Methodist Charlton Medical Center, a Magnet-designated hospital recognized for excellence in cardiac care and women's services.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an approved Radiologic Technologist Program
- Meets the MQSA guidelines
- Current Basic Life Support certification
- Current American Registry of Radiologic Technologists certification — ARRT (M) or ARMRIT
- Texas Department of State Health certification
- 1 year of work experience
- ARRT (R) certification
- Ability to obtain ARRT (M) license within 1 year of completing orientation
