Job Summary
Perform quality mammography procedures and assist radiologists in special procedures for early detection of breast abnormalities. Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to provide imaging services including ultrasound, CT scan, PET scan, interventional radiology, digital mammography, and nuclear medicine. Maintain clear communication, build collaborative relationships, and take initiative for professional growth while prioritizing the patient experience. Graduate of an approved Radiologic Technologist Program with current Basic Life Support and ARRT certification required. Work Saturdays and Sundays in an 8X5 day schedule at Methodist Charlton Medical Center, a Magnet-designated Level III Trauma Center serving southwestern Dallas County.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an approved Radiologic Technologist Program
- Meets the MQSA guidelines
- Current Basic Life Support certification
- Current American Registry of Radiologic Technologists certification — ARRT (M) or ARMRIT
- Texas Department of State Health certification
- 1 year of work experience
- ARRT (R) certification
- Ability to obtain ARRT (M) license within 1 year of completing orientation
