Job Summary
Conduct Magnetic Resonance Imaging procedures to produce tomographic films for neonates, pediatric, adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients in an outpatient setting. Operate MRI equipment while maintaining American Heart Association Basic Life Support certification. Requires a graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology or MRI program with registration as a Registered Radiologic Technologist and one year of diagnostic radiology experience. Work hours vary. Northside Hospital is an award-winning, state-of-the-art facility expanding care quality in Atlanta.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited school of Radiologic Technology or Accredited Magnetic Resonance Imaging Program
- Registered Radiologic Technologist (RT) with one (1) year of experience in diagnostic radiology or ARMRIT (MR) registry or ARRT (MR) only registry in lieu of ARRT (RT) certification and diagnostic radiology experience
- American Heart Association Basic Life Support
Desired Qualifications
- Registered MRI Technologist by ARRT (MR) or ARMRIT (MR)
- One (1) year of training and experience in MRI
