Job Summary
Utilize magnetic resonance imaging equipment to produce tomographic films of designated body portions for inpatient patients. Maintain certification as a Registered MRI Technologist by ARRT (MR) or ARMRI (MR) and hold Basic Cardiac Life Support (BLS) credentials. Work evening shifts from 7 p.m. to 7:30 a.m. on Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays, with weekend requirements confirmed. One year of MRI experience is preferred, along with additional life support or clinical specialty certifications.
Required Qualifications
- Must be a graduate of an accredited school of Radiologic Technology/Radiography or Accredited Magnetic Resonance Imaging Program
- Registered Technologist by ARRT (RT)
- Registered MRI Technologist by ARRT (MR)
- ARMRIT (MR)
- Certification in American Heart Association's Basic Cardiac Life Support (BLS)
- Must be available for weekend shifts
Desired Qualifications
- One (1) year of experience in MRI
- Additional Life Support credential (ACLS, PALS, NRP, etc.)
- other clinical specialty certifications in specific units
- Visual color acuity depending on the role in specific units
