Job Summary
Perform MRI imaging procedures using radiofrequency waves and strong magnetic fields, operating a variety of equipment including computers with independent judgment under the general supervision of the Radiologist and MRI Supervisor. Maintain superior technical knowledge of cross-sectional anatomy while delivering an excellent patient experience within a culture of caring. This role requires a graduate of an approved Radiologic Technology school with MRI certification and at least two years of cross-sectional imaging experience, preferably including one year of full-time MRI work. Join a Level I academic medical center dedicated to the highest quality care for patients and their families in Burlington, VT.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an approved school of Radiologic Technology (CAHEA/JRCT)
- Certification in MRI
- Two years cross sectional imaging and/or computer assisted imaging
- One year full time experience in MR
- Demonstrated superior technical knowledge and expertise in cross sectional anatomy
Desired Qualifications
- Two years cross sectional imaging and/or computer assisted imaging preferred
- One year full time experience in MR preferred
