Job Summary
Operate MRI equipment using radiofrequency waves and strong magnetic fields to perform imaging procedures under the supervision of a Radiologist and MRI Supervisor. Utilize high technical expertise to manage associated computers and demonstrate superior knowledge of cross-sectional anatomy. Maintain independent judgment while delivering an excellent patient experience within a team-centered culture. This role requires a graduate of an approved Radiologic Technology program with MRI certification and at least two years of cross-sectional imaging experience. Join a Level I stroke, pediatric, and bariatric center in Burlington, VT.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an approved school of Radiologic Technology (CAHEA/JRCT)
- Certification in MRI
- Two years cross sectional imaging and/or computer assisted imaging
- One year full time experience in MR
- Demonstrated superior technical knowledge and expertise in cross sectional anatomy
- Independent judgement under the general supervision of the Radiologist and the MRI Supervisor
Desired Qualifications
- Two years cross sectional imaging and/or computer assisted imaging preferred
- One year full time experience in MR preferred
