Job Summary
Utilize magnetic resonance imaging equipment to produce tomographic films of designated portions of the human body. Maintain certification as a Registered Technologist by ARRT (RT) or Registered MRI Technologist by ARRT (MR), and hold Basic Cardiac Life Support certification. One year of MRI experience is preferred, along with additional life support credentials or clinical specialty certifications depending on the unit. Schedule includes Saturday and Sunday shifts from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. and Monday from 7:30 a.m. to 8 p.m. with weekend requirements. No on-call rotation is required. Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited school of Radiologic Technology/Radiography or Accredited Magnetic Resonance Imaging Program
- Registered Technologist by ARRT (RT)
- Registered MRI Technologist by ARRT (MR)
- ARMRIT (MR)
- Certification in American Heart Association's Basic Cardiac Life Support (BLS)
- Weekend Requirements: Yes
Desired Qualifications
- One (1) year of experience in MRI
- Additional Life Support credential (ACLS, PALS, NRP, etc.)
- Other clinical specialty certifications in specific units
- Visual color acuity depending on the role in specific units
