Job Summary
Utilize magnetic resonance imaging equipment to produce tomographic films of designated body portions. Maintain certification as a Registered MRI Technologist by ARRT (MR) or ARMRT (MR), and hold American Heart Association Basic Cardiac Life Support (BLS) certification. One year of MRI experience is preferred, along with additional life support credentials such as ACLS or PALS. Schedule runs 8 a.m. to 8:30 p.m. Thursdays through Saturdays. Required Qualifications
- Must be a graduate of an accredited school of Radiologic Technology/Radiography or Accredited Magnetic Resonance Imaging Program
- Registered Technologist by ARRT (RT)
- Registered MRI Technologist by ARRT (MR)
- ARMRIT (MR)
- Certification in American Heart Association's Basic Cardiac Life Support (BLS)
Desired Qualifications
- One (1) year of experience in MRI
- Additional Life Support credential (ACLS, PALS, NRP, etc.)
- other clinical specialty certifications in specific units
- Visual color acuity depending on the role in specific units
