Job Summary
Utilize magnetic resonance imaging equipment to produce tomographic films of designated portions of the human body. Maintain certification in American Heart Association's Basic Cardiac Life Support (BLS) and hold ARRT registration as a Radiologic Technologist or MRI Technologist. Complete one year of MRI experience if available, and possess visual color acuity suitable for the specific unit. Work weekends from 6:30 AM to 7 PM at Northside Hospital's award-winning outpatient facility in Atlanta.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited school of Radiologic Technology/Radiography or Accredited Magnetic Resonance Imaging Program
- Registered Technologist by ARRT (RT)
- Registered MRI Technologist by ARRT (MR)
- ARMRIT (MR)
- Certification in American Heart Association's Basic Cardiac Life Support (BLS)
- Available for weekend shifts
Desired Qualifications
- One (1) year of experience in MRI
- Additional Life Support credential (ACLS, PALS, NRP, etc.)
- Other clinical specialty certifications in specific units
- Visual color acuity depending on the role in specific units
