**MRI Tech Assistant

Coordinate imaging services and procedures to ensure efficient department operation, verifying order validity and obtaining necessary lab values. Assist radiology, MRI, and CT technologists by transporting patients, preparing non-sterile trays, and answering screening questions to confirm procedure orders match patient needs. Inform technologists of MRI safety concerns and ensure all safety procedures are followed in security zones while demonstrating exceptional customer service through clear communication and compassion. Provide clerical support using office equipment and perform other assigned duties within the skill set. This per diem role with variable shifts supports Garden City Hospital's award-winning team of physicians and over 80 trainees in a state-of-the-art teaching facility.
