Job Summary
Capture high-quality diagnostic images by expertly positioning patients and selecting precise technical parameters to ensure accurate pathology detection. Advocate for patient safety by strictly following radiation protection guidelines and conducting thorough pre-screening and education. Execute seamless data management by verifying image quality, markers, and histories before submission to PACS. Maintain a high-standard clinical environment by monitoring equipment performance and coordinating the readiness of procedure rooms. This day l Part-Time role in Manhattan, KS includes variable days/hours with possible short weekend coverage. BLS certification and specific ARRT MRI or Radiography credentials are required.
Required Qualifications
- BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date
- Radiologic Technologist specializing in Magnetic Resonance Imaging credentialed from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) obtained within 15 Months (1 1/4 year) of hire date or job transfer date
- Radiologic Technologist specializing in Radiography credentialed from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT)
- Radiologic Technologist specializing in Radiography credentialed from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) obtained within 3 Months (90 days) of hire date or job transfer date
- Radiologic Technologist specializing in Magnetic Resonance Imaging credentialed from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT)
- Radiologic Technologist specializing in Magnetic Resonance Imaging credentialed from the American Registry of Magnetic Resonance Imaging Technologists (ARMRIT) obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date
- High School diploma equivalency with 2 years of cumulative experience
- Associate's degree/Technical degree
- 4 years of applicable cumulative job specific experience
- ARRT registered in MRI
- two years of experience
