Job Summary
MRI Tech responsible for capturing high-precision diagnostic images and navigating technical parameters to ensure physicians have clarity for diagnoses. Provide empathetic pre-screening and patient education to ease imaging procedures, manage the end-to-end digital journey of patient data and images, uphold safety and radiation protocols, and collaborate on department readiness and equipment health to deliver timely patient care.
Required Qualifications
- BLS Provider within 30 days of hire or transfer date required (American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted)
- NMTCB Nuclear Medical Tech credentialed prior to hire date or transfer date; MR boards through ARRT within 12 months of hire/transfer date
- ARRT MR credential within 12 months of hire/transfer date
- ARDMS MR credential obtained prior to hire date or transfer date; MR boards through ARRT within 12 months of hire/transfer date
- ARMRIT credentialed in MR Imaging prior to hire date or transfer date
- Education: High School diploma equivalency with 2 years of cumulative experience OR Associate's degree/Technical degree OR 4 years of applicable cumulative job-specific experience
