Job Summary
Provide clinical leadership and operational oversight across multiple MRI sites in the North Metro Melbourne region, including Nth Melbourne, Fairfield, Niddrie, Moonee Ponds, Sunshine Private, and St Albans. Ensure high-quality imaging standards, optimized workflows, and safe, compliant practices while supporting advanced MRI services and continuous improvement initiatives. Manage a diverse fleet of MRI systems and vendors, drive clinical excellence, and support staff training and assessment to standardize practices. Requires minimum 5 years' MRI experience, demonstrated leadership skills, and ability to work required rostered hours with regional travel.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 5 years' experience in MRI
- Demonstrated leadership and team development experience
- Ability to work the required rostered hours for this position
- Ability and willingness to travel between sites within the region
- Bachelor of Medical Imaging (or equivalent)
- AHPRA Registration and Radiation Use License
- SMIRT MRI Accreditation (Level 1 minimum)
Desired Qualifications
- Experience managing or supporting multi-site MRI services (desirable)
- Advanced MRI clinical expertise across multiple systems/platforms
- Strong understanding of MRI operations, workflow, and quality systems
- Excellent communication, stakeholder engagement, and problem-solving skills
- Multi-vendor MRI experience (Siemens, GE, Philips)
