Job Summary
Oversee technical and compliance measures for all MRI operations, including directing technical procedures, patient care, and workflow to ensure safe and effective patient care. Assist with scheduling staff to meet patient volume needs and participate in the hiring process for new team members. Act as a coach to provide guidance for other staff and facilitate collaboration across all departmental levels. Perform the duties of an MRI Technologist while managing rotating weekend on-call shifts from 8a-12pm Saturday and Sunday. Requires an Associate's degree in Medical Radiography, advanced MRI certification, and at least three years of MRI experience.
Required Qualifications
- Associate's degree or equivalent from an approved Medical Radiographic Program
- Advanced certification on MRI
- At least three years of experience in MRI
- Two years of experience as a lead tech or supervisor
- Effective communication skills
- rotating weekend on-call rotation 8a-12pm Saturday and Sunday
