Job Summary
Perform medically prescribed MRI procedures under radiologist direction, including patient identification, positioning, and IV contrast administration. Schedule exams in the RIS, manage departmental logs, and conduct equipment quality control checks. Monitor patients for contrast reactions, notify staff of emergencies, and generate high-quality image reports for PACS. Ensure patient comfort and privacy while adhering to hospital protocols and isolation precautions. Complete all exams efficiently and perform other duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree
- New York State Intravenous Contrast Administration Certification
- ARRT Primary Certification/Registration
- Qualified candidates must be able to effectively communicate with all levels of the organization
