MRI Senior Rotational Radiographer

Job Summary
Deliver a high-quality diagnostic imaging service for a varied caseload, ensuring MRI safety in line with local rules and IRMER. Maintain equipment safety and report faults while providing support to the Clinical Lead Radiographers. Participate in departmental audits, Quality Assurance programmes, and the review of procedural changes. Take an active part in supervising and developing junior colleagues. Competency in IV cannulation is essential. Participate in on-call CT rota, attending the site within one hour of call activation. Work within IRMER and own scope of practice in accordance with HCPC code of conduct.
Required Qualifications
- BSC degree in diagnostic radiography (or equivalent)
- More than 3 years' experience in MRI
- Experience in a wide variety MRI scans
- Competency in IV cannulation
- Experience in another modality such as CT, and X-ray
- Some experience with Siemens equipment
- Understanding and empathetic approach to patients and staff alike
- Respectful towards all individuals, including staff, patients and visitors
- Proactive and forward thinking approach to work
- Excellent communication and team working abilities
- Ability to attend site within one hour of call activation
