Job Summary
MRI Patient Access Rep part-time role responsible for welcoming patients, guiding them through new/updated paperwork and consent forms, scanning documents into EMR, explaining financial responsibilities (co-pays, co-insurances, deductibles), collecting payments, coordinating with MRI Benefit Coordinators, and assisting MRI technologists as needed. The position emphasizes customer service, cash handling, front-desk operations, and accurate data entry, with attention to detail and clear communication in a healthcare environment.
Required Qualifications
- High School diploma or equivalent
- One year of experience in customer service or reception, preferably in a health care environment
- Basic Computer skills
- Strong customer service
- Ability to communicate clearly and concisely in all written and oral communications
- Strong organizational skills with great attention to detail
- Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form
- Demonstrated conflict management skills
