Job Summary
Operate MRI-ultrasound fusion platforms to support targeted prostate biopsies and urological procedures. Prepare, calibrate, and troubleshoot imaging equipment while importing and aligning diagnostic MRI images for accurate targeting. Partner with physicians and surgical teams to maintain procedure efficiency, and transport fusion equipment to hospitals and ambulatory surgery centers for technical assistance. Maintain procedure documentation, QA checks, and logs, ensuring compliance with safety standards and infection control protocols. Requires CPR certification, one year of patient and physician support experience in an OR setting, and ability to lift up to 500 lbs. Weekend and holiday work may be required, with potential overnight travel. Paid training is offered for qualified candidates with relevant healthcare experience.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- CPR certification (must be current and maintained)
- At least 1 year experience providing patient & physician support in an OR setting
- Ability to meet hospital requirements for operating room access (including annual TB screening and any facility-mandated requirements)
- HIPAA training compliance and completion of required company regulatory courses
- Moderate computer skills and comfort working with imaging/software platforms
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills; ability to handle sensitive situations professionally with patients, families, physicians, and staff
- Ability to maintain and provide any required state license(s) as applicable by law/operational needs
- May be required to hold a Commercial Driver's License (where required) and must maintain a safe driving record
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs multiple times per day and push equipment (on wheels) up to 500 lbs
- Weekend/holiday work may be required
