Job Summary
Perform CT and MRI imaging procedures while ensuring patient safety through proper positioning, shielding, and aseptic practices. Assess patient pain levels and contact physicians for intervention when necessary. Complete all quality control checks, maintain accurate logs, and document deviations consistently. Interact professionally with patients and families while adhering to dress codes and confidentiality policies. Take calls according to the monthly schedule after regular hours and complete all duties before clocking out.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelors or Associate degree
- One (1) year of radiologic/imaging experience
- Graduation from an AMA-approved school of Radiologic Technology
- Registered with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists
- ARRT and/or CRT certification
- Current BCLS certification
- Knowledge and understanding of general anatomy, physiology and medical terminology
- Possesses a high level of knowledge of cross-sectional anatomy
- Proficiency with MRI/CT equipment manufacturer's hardware and software (GE, Siemens, Picker)
- Able to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing
Desired Qualifications
- Prefer specific experience and training in CT/MRI
