Job Summary
MRI Assistant supports efficient MRI workflow by optimizing patient flow, documenting screening and safety procedures, and delivering quality patient care. Responsibilities include observing safety protocols, proper phone etiquette, participating in staff communications, documenting patient history and exam details in PACS, managing stock/pantry orders, and assisting with various duties as assigned. Requires ability to prioritize, manage time, and work effectively in a healthcare team. Onsite at Cayuga Medical Center with potential coverage at East Campus MRI and Cortland MRI; shift is Per Diem with days and evenings FLEX and 6:30am–10:00pm windows. Local travel up to 10% may be required. Salary range $18.50-$24.00 per hour.
