Job Summary
MRB Liaison Engineer – Systems tasked with resolving aircraft-system related non-conformances and providing engineering dispositions to ensure safety, quality, and certification compliance. Interfaces with production personnel and multiple engineering disciplines to facilitate timely issue resolution, conducts on-aircraft investigations, analyzes deviations in system routing and interfaces, ensures solutions meet engineering standards and certification requirements, maintains MRB documentation, and contributes to process improvements for production efficiency. Requires collaboration with structures, stress, design, materials and processes, manufacturing, quality, and operations teams, and adherence to AS9100 quality standards and internal procedures.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Aerospace Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related engineering field
- 5+ years of experience in aerospace systems engineering, MRB engineering, or aircraft systems installation support
- Knowledge of aircraft systems installation requirements and production engineering practices
- Experience developing engineering dispositions for non-conformances in a manufacturing environment
- Proficiency with CATIA V5 and Microsoft Office applications
- Familiarity with MRB software and engineering change documentation
