Job Summary
Lead resolution of highly complex MRB nonconformances requiring advanced engineering judgment and develop robust repair solutions considering fit, form, function, airworthiness, cost, and schedule. Serve as technical authority in cross-functional and customer-facing engagements while defining and improving MRB processes, practices, and engineering standards. Provide expert guidance to Design, Stress, Quality, Manufacturing, and Supplier teams, mentor engineers across all levels, and support audits, program reviews, and regulatory compliance activities. Contribute to advanced problem-solving, methodology development, and continuous improvement initiatives. Day, night, and weekend shifts available with a competitive hourly rate of $57–$62.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Aerospace, Mechanical, Structural Engineering, or related discipline (ABET-accredited)
- 9 - 14+ years of MRB/aerospace engineering experience with recognized subject matter expertise
- Strong expertise in metallic and composite structures
- Significant experience supporting Boeing programs (737/787 preferred) or similar aircraft platforms
- Prior MRB signing authority or delegated approval (strongly preferred)
- Advanced knowledge of airworthiness, regulatory requirements, and compliance frameworks
- Proficiency in SAP NCMS or similar systems
- CATIA V5 experience preferred
- Demonstrated ability to lead complex technical decisions and influence stakeholders
- Day, night, and weekend shifts available
