Job Summary
Design and maintain scalable MQTT APIs and telemetry data integration solutions using Azure Data Lake Storage, Microsoft Fabric, and industrial platforms like Ignition. Build high-throughput data ingestion pipelines, optimize messaging infrastructure for low latency, and develop REST APIs and microservices to expose telemetry to downstream applications. Implement authentication and secure communication protocols while monitoring and resolving production issues related to data pipelines. Collaborate with OT, IoT, and cloud teams to deliver end-to-end solutions, utilizing Python, C#, or Node.js for backend development.
Required Qualifications
- 3–6 years of experience in MQTT, API development, or IoT application development
- Strong hands-on experience with Azure Data Lake Storage, Microsoft Fabric, and telemetry systems such as Ignition to manage high data flow
- Experience with MQTT brokers (EMQX, HiveMQ, Mosquitto, or Azure IoT Hub)
- Proficiency in Python, C#, Java, or Node.js for backend/API development
- Experience building RESTful APIs and integrating message-driven architectures
- Knowledge of event streaming, data ingestion, and high-volume telemetry processing
- Familiarity with Docker, Kubernetes, CI/CD, Git, and cloud-native deployment
- Strong troubleshooting, communication, and documentation skills
Desired Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
- Azure certifications (AZ-204, DP-203, or Microsoft Fabric), IoT certifications are advantageous
- Experience with industrial automation or SCADA environments
