Job Summary
Execute residential main panel upgrades from 100-400 amps up to code and safety standards, including diagnosing electrical and solar system issues. Collect data and photos during projects to submit detailed work orders while maintaining clean, safe, and organized work sites. Tie in and commission solar systems, review upcoming job photos and plans, and collaborate with the warehouse team for material readiness. Perform minor stucco and drywall repairs post-installation and handle solar-related services when no main panel upgrades are scheduled. Communicate professionally with customers to address on-site questions and concerns.
Required Qualifications
- Valid CA Journeyman Electrician License
- Minimum of 1 year of residential electrical experience, including main panel upgrades
- Strong understanding of NEC, electrical codes, and residential electrical systems
- Capable of working independently and problem-solving in the field
- Comfortable using technology for submitting work orders and project updates
- Must have a valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Excellent interpersonal skills with a professional and respectful demeanor toward customers
Desired Qualifications
- Familiarity with solar system tie-ins and commissioning preferred
