Job Summary
MPLP Core and Coil Assembler on 2nd Shift focusing on heavy mechanical assembly of transformer components. Responsible for placing core steel laminations, positioning coils with an overhead crane, pressing coils with hydraulic equipment, and crimping insulated copper cables. Will train new operators and collaborate with production leads, engineering, quality assurance, and other functions to ensure safety, precision, and craftsmanship. Work includes using cranes and forklifts to move parts, setting up core components, stacking laminations, interpreting blueprints and BOMs, and maintaining contamination-control and cleanliness procedures. Requires proficiency with hand tools and industrial equipment, strong mechanical aptitude, attention to detail, and a team-oriented mindset. Frequent standing, lifting, and operating in a large-scale manufacturing environment for high-voltage transformers. Education: High school diploma or equivalent.
Required Qualifications

- Proficiency with hand tools, cranes, powered industrial vehicles, hydraulic presses, wire cutters, wire crimpers, and other industrial tools
- Strong mechanical aptitude and spatial awareness
- Attention to detail with the ability to interpret complex technical drawings
