Job Summary
CNC Machinist I-II responsible for operating CNC machines (lathes, VTLs and mills), setting up, machining, and inspecting parts to quality standards. Responsibilities include loading/unloading parts, deburring, changeovers, reading blueprints, using measuring devices, adjusting programs, modifying basic G-code, maintaining equipment and materials, and supporting continuous improvement. Will work with quality personnel and project coordinators, follow safety protocols, and participate in process improvements. CAM programming is preferred. Requires familiarity with PPE, safety practices, and ability to work 2nd shift with physical demands of the role.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a CNC Machinist role
- Enrolled in or participating in a CNC Machining program
- high school diploma/GED required
- Associates or higher in a technical field preferred
- Computer skills required
- Must be able to meet physical requirements including lifting
- Must be able to work overtime and extended hours
- Must be able to operate forklift or overhead crane
