Job Summary
Nursing Assistant assists in patient care under the direction of a Staff RN, providing personal care (bathing, feeding, skin and mouth care, changing bed lines) and collecting, documenting, and reporting vital signs (temperature, blood pressure, pulse, height, weight). Also assists with pre-operative, intra-operative, and post-operative care (positioning, lifting, turning), reports condition changes, aids in treatment procedures, maintains supplies, and reports equipment issues while ensuring HIPAA compliance and professionalism.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED Equivalent preferred
- STNA preferred
- CPR/When Seconds Count/HOPE within the first six months of employment
- Nursing assistant experience preferred
