Mowing Crew Lead

Job Summary
Lead a landscape maintenance crew of up to 4 members in Des Moines and surrounding areas. Responsibilities include mowing, trimming, edging with zero-turn mowers and power equipment; ensuring jobsite safety; coordinating with the Operations Manager and Sales team; training and developing crew members; maintaining and organizing tools and vehicles; submitting daily activity reports and timesheets; forecasting equipment, labor, and material needs; interacting with clients to ensure satisfaction; and upholding Wright Outdoor Solutions’ safety, integrity, excellence, stewardship, and family values while complying with applicable laws.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years’ experience in mowing or related industry
- Iowa Commercial Pesticide Applicator 3OT License or ability to obtain one within 20 days of hire
- Valid Iowa driver’s license
- First-Aid and CPR cards or willingness to obtain
- Must be self-motivated with strong leadership skills
- Professional appearance and actions
- Ability to multi-task and plan ahead
- Ability to read/write/speak English to perform duties and interact with employees/vendors
