Job Summary
Coordinate movement and dance programs for day habilitation participants, building social, emotional, physical, intellectual, and behavioral skills through individualized plans and structured curricula. Serve as a resource for staff by providing training on utilizing movement as a teaching tool and ensuring activities integrate with physical therapy, occupational therapy, and nursing routines. Maintain equipment, support community-based opportunities, and offer hands-on assistance during daily routines while collaborating with the Creative Expressions team. Full-time Monday-Friday schedule with flexibility to meet agency needs.
Required Qualifications
- BA/BS in Movement/Dance
- over 3 months of experience working with the people with disabilities
- equivalent amount of education and experience
