Job Summary
Lead and deliver an exceptional fitness program for youth with autism and intellectual disabilities through coaching, instruction and facilitation to ensure a positive and impactful experience for all. Collaborating with other MOVE Coaches and Supervisors when discovering best practices. Create and develop workout plans that meet programming guidelines of MOVE by GoodLife Kids to support the needs of the Participants. Build and maintain positive relationships with MOVE Participants and our Community Partners. Respond to MOVE Participants and Caregiver feedback and concerns. This role will primarily lead in-person classes with the opportunity to be involved with our virtual programming as needed. Represent GoodLife Kids Foundation in a professional, positive, caring, and friendly manner.
Required Qualifications
- Must have or be willing to obtain a current nationally recognized Group Fitness /Coaching certification such as Fitness Instructor Specialist (FIS)/Personal Training Specialist (PTS)
- Must have a current CPR-A certification
- Ability to establish and maintain professional working relationships with Participants and MOVE Community Partners
- Access to reliable internet connection that supports uninterrupted video conferencing
