Job Summary
Entry Level Engineer in Movable Bridge Design for Mechanismsburg, PA and Philadelphia, PA offices. Requires BS in Civil/Structural Engineering (ABET-accredited); MS preferred. EI certification in process. Coursework in Bridge Design, Structural Steel, Reinforced Concrete, Finite Element Modeling; CAD proficiency. Responsibilities include using standard engineering analysis software, maintaining effective communication with team members, reviewing/checking standard structural design calculations, performing limited structural analysis and design of bridge components under guidance, conducting on-site structural assessments and inspections, developing preliminary CAD details for contract plans, preparing project documents and internal correspondence, performing quantity take-offs, reviewing basic structural drawings and shop drawings, contributing to design reports, and performing additional duties including field/construction services. Required Qualifications
- BS in Civil/Structural Engineering from ABET-accredited College or University
- MS in Civil Engineering preferred
- EI certification (in process acceptable)
- Coursework in Bridge Design, Structural Steel Design, Reinforced Concrete Design, Finite Element Modeling
- Basic CAD knowledge
- Ability to use engineering analysis software
- On-site inspection capabilities
- Quantity take-offs
- Review of structural drawings and shop drawings
- Project documentation
- Authorization to work in the United States
Desired Qualifications

- Ability to perform quantity take-offs
