Job Summary
Dismount tires from wheels and mount them onto rims according to safety standards while balancing tires with approved equipment. Operate tire service equipment including changers and balancers, maintaining proper care of all tools. Inspect tires and wheels to identify defective conditions, marking items as required and determining when components need repair or replacement. Assist with loading and unloading trailers or box trucks as needed. Accurately document and communicate all work performed in accordance with company procedures. Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment while handling materials and equipment safely. Follow all company policies regarding safety, attendance, teamwork, and operational processes. Perform additional related duties as assigned by management.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED
- Must be authorized to work in the United States
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, physically demanding environment
- Capable of working both independently and as part of a team
- Willingness to assist with other job duties as assigned
