Job Summary
Camp Coach responsible for developing caring relationships with campers and delivering high-quality instruction to support safe skill progression across action sports (Parkour, Scooter, Skateboard, BMX, MTB) in a summer-camp setting. Oversees full-day camper care including meal and activity times, communicates with medical staff regarding injuries and special needs, assists with check-in/check-out, maintains professionalism and a positive attitude, and fosters an inclusive, energetic learning environment. May specialize in one of the five sports and participate in a variety of recreation activities with campers; role requires strong communication, enthusiasm, and ability to adapt to shifting daily needs in a fast-paced camp setting. Certification of CPR and first aid is preferred; prior experience with younger children and summer camp environments is preferred. Position supports a flexible schedule and includes housing options and access to POWDR facilities; location includes Woodward Tahoe/Boreal in California.
Required Qualifications
- Experience working with younger children preferred
- Summer camp experience preferred
- Action sports experience required
- Certification & Education Requirements: Current CPR and first aid certification preferred
- Follows all established policies and procedures
- Flexible with hours and days of work; can work any hours of the day, any days of the week
