Job Summary
Monitor radio channels and dispatch phone lines to receive, evaluate, and prioritize incoming calls, including first aid and emergency situations. Relay critical information across departments to support operational efficiency and ensure consistent messaging regarding terrain status. Accurately log all communications, incidents, and operational updates while maintaining detailed records of radio transmissions and phone interactions. Deploy appropriate resources based on the nature of each situation and facilitate timely incident response. Work weekends and holidays during the winter season from November 30, 2026, to April 18, 2027, with a pay rate of $20–$24 per hour. Complete the ICS 100 course prior to employment and demonstrate proficient skiing ability.
Required Qualifications
- Completion of ICS 100: Introduction to the Incident Command System (FEMA online course – approx. 2 hours)
- Proficient skiing ability
- Availability to work weekends and holidays during the winter season
