Job Summary
Set up, maintain, and break down snow making equipment while ensuring terrain and access points remain safe for public opening. Operate machinery to perform snow removal, sanding, lawn mowing, land clearing, construction, repair, and passenger loading. Conduct regular prechecks and maintenance on all facilities and equipment. Work in extreme weather conditions for extended periods, lifting up to 50 lbs and navigating rough, slippery terrain. Provide positive customer service when interfacing with guests. Full-time or part-time seasonal roles from September through April offer health insurance, 401K, and complimentary skiing. Mohawk Mountain provides training for carpentry, equipment operation, and snowmaking, with experience in these areas as a plus.
Required Qualifications
- Be able to work well with a crew and self-motivated enough to work alone for extended periods of time
- Be able to follow verbal directions accurately
- Be able to negotiate rough and slippery terrain at a substantial grade
- Be able to work long hours in extreme weather conditions
- Lift pull, and carry up to 50 lbs
- Must be able to be on their feet for extended periods of time
- Full Time or Part time seasonal (September though April)
