Job Summary
Perform personal care activities assisting patients with activities of daily living, including personal hygiene, ambulation, transfers, dressing, and shaving. Prepare meals and snacks according to instructions, accompany patients on errands or medical appointments, and perform light housekeeping. Provide patient-specific activities such as hospice supportive care, medication reminders, range of motion exercises, blood glucose monitoring, and incontinence care. Use lifting equipment like gait belts and Hoyer lifts for bed-bound patients. Weekend shift differential and health insurance available for full-time equivalent roles.
Required Qualifications
- Ability to perform personal care activities that assist the patient with activities of daily living
- Ability to perform personal hygiene
- Ability to perform ambulation/transfers
- Ability to dress/shave
- Ability to prepare meals and snacks according to instructions
- Ability to accompany patient on errands or medical appointments
- Ability to perform light housekeeping activities

- Ability to assist with the prescribed range of motion exercises
- Ability to assist with blood glucose monitoring
