Job Summary
Coordinate and perform breakdowns, preventative maintenance, and calibration activities for production equipment to ensure continuous operations. Conduct necessary equipment and tooling setup, including verification through testing and measurement. Perform process or equipment troubleshooting and assist engineering teams with validation activities to resolve operational issues. Accurately document all maintenance and calibration activities while adhering to GMP, 5S practices, and Health and Safety policies. Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives by adapting maintenance methods and schedules. Provide technical training, mentoring, and guidance to junior technicians and production team members.
Required Qualifications
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to adapt to change and collaborate effectively across teams
- Solid understanding of computer systems, including knowledge in Microsoft Office applications
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, demanding environment, both as part of a team and independently
- Proactive self-management with a commitment to completing work to the highest standards, on time and within budget
- Flexibility to work within a varied schedule (Ability to work in shifts)
- Discipline and safety mindset
- Ability to follow standard work
Desired Qualifications
- Diploma, ITE or Certificate related to Mechanical or Electrical field
- Experience in manufacturing environment
- Experience in injection moulding process
- Hands-on experience with mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic systems and devices, with the ability to read and interpret electromechanical drawings
- Experience in performing maintenance and calibration activities on equipment, ensuring equipment is always in optimal working condition
