Job Summary
Execute mould design rework for Standard Tool Moulds and 3rd Generation Legacy Moulds in Siemens Teamcenter and NX CAD, collaborating with global stakeholders to align on external design requests. Document learnings from design errors, share extractions across the team, and ensure contractors meet external standards while pursuing opportunities to reduce lead time and cost. Act as a 3D/2D review approver for designs on the external platform, maintaining accountability for specific delivery scopes and quality. This role supports the creation of 250+ novelty and reorder moulds annually, contributing to 500+ high-quality STM deliveries for LEGO production sites. The position is based in Singapore with a hybrid schedule averaging three days in the office per week.
Required Qualifications
- Background as a Mould Designer
- experience in the manufacturing of plastic injection moulds
- A minimum of 1 year of experience in plastic injection mould design
- Experience and knowledge of toolmaking processes
- Strong knowledge and experience with CAD systems and 3D design
- preferably NX
- Microsoft Office
- SAP
- Good communication and stakeholder management skills
