Job Summary
Mould Close Technician I position at GE Vernova/LM Wind Power in Grand Forks, ND. Responsible for tasks across the blade closing process, including moulding, closing, cut and trim, finishing, and assembly of wind turbine blades. Works in a collaborative team to build blades from fiberglass and other materials, following work instructions, maintaining safety and quality standards to achieve zero-defect output. Benefits include 401(k) with company matching, health/dental/vision, PTO, tuition reimbursement, and other programs. Multiple shifts available (days, afternoons, nights). Relocation not provided; drug screen required; eligible for GE Vernova benefits.
Required Qualifications
- Must be able to stand/walk for long periods of time
- Ability to read work instructions
- Basic math skills
- Ability to operate basic hand tools
- May be required to operate power tools
- Ability to lift up to 40lbs
- Ability to work as part of a team
