Job Summary
Certified Harley-Davidson motorcycle technician sought to perform factory-authorized maintenance, diagnostics, and repairs on Harley-Davidson motorcycles per factory standards. Responsibilities include troubleshooting and repairing engines, electrical systems, suspensions, transmissions, and drivetrains; completing performance upgrades, accessory installations, and PDIs; handling warranty, recall, and customer-pay repairs with proper documentation; maintaining a clean, OSHA-compliant work environment; coordinating with service advisors and parts department; staying current with Harley-Davidson factory training and new model releases; and documenting all work in the dealership’s repair order system. Requires HD training credentials, Harley-Davidson experience preferred, and a valid motorcycle endorsement. Compensation includes a flat rate structure with potential bonuses and a comprehensive benefits package.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of MMI (Motorcycle Mechanics Institute), UTI motorcycle program, or equivalent formal motorcycle technician training
- Professional experience as a motorcycle technician; Harley-Davidson experience strongly preferred
- Ability to perform diagnostics and repairs independently in accordance with Harley-Davidson standards
- Valid motorcycle endorsement on driver’s license
- Must pass pre-employment background check, MVR, and drug screening
- Authorized to work in the United States
