Job Summary
Drive a fully automatic, well-maintained bus on planned routes to pick up and drop off passengers while performing pre-trip and post-trip inspections. Load and unload baggage, assist passengers on and off the vehicle, and report any mechanical issues regarding brakes, steering, or air conditioning. Comply with all DOT, Federal, and State traffic laws and regulations while completing initial and ongoing training provided by expert instructors. This role offers consistent year-round work with flexible schedules and paid layover time. Candidates must be 23 years of age with a valid driver's license, and the company provides paid training to obtain the required CDL Class B with passenger and air brake endorsements.
Required Qualifications
- Must be 23 years of age
- Must have a valid driver's license and the ability to obtain CDL with provided training
- Must pass drug and alcohol screenings and DOT physical exam
- Must be able to assist passengers when needed
- Must be able to lift 60 pounds and be able to lift 60 pounds at least 14 inches from road level
- Must be able to work holidays and weekends when needed
- Ability to operate a bus safely
- Ability to follow verbal and written instructions
- Outstanding customer service skills
- Punctual to work
Desired Qualifications
- Those with CDL License, company paid basic training
- Those without a CDL License, company paid basic and CDL training with little to no out of pocket costs (Training value of $3,000)
