Job Summary
Diagnose system faults, rectify faults including replacing components, and return vehicle systems to manufacturer specification. Carry out repairs and maintenance on customer vehicles, ranging from minor to major mechanical work, and complete major electrical and engine repair tasks. Utilize advanced diagnostic equipment to fault find items relevant to the franchise brand and perform road tests of customer vehicles after work is completed. Meet and discuss vehicle and repair needs with customers when necessary, and ensure Vehicle Health Check video completion meets targets and exceeds all Vehicle Health Check KPIs. Mentor and coach apprentices while supporting less experienced team members.
Required Qualifications
- Full UK drivers' licence
- Own tools
- Technical knowledge to allow you to carry out repairs confidently and safely and maintenance of customer vehicles
- Capability and confidence in using systems and equipment within the workshop
- Experience within a franchise dealer working to the highest quality standards
- Experience of working to productivity targets
- Working as part of a team to achieve the best results for the customer
- Qualified by experience in post or Level 3 Vehicle Maintenance and Repair
- Ability to Mentor & Coach apprentices and support less experienced team members
- UK Drivers Licence (required)
- Level 2/3 Vehicle Maintenance and Repair (required)
